The Evening Draw (“we,” “us,” or “our”) runs theeveningdraw.com. This page explains what information we collect when you visit, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who This Site Is For
The Evening Draw is about cigars and is intended only for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. If you join our newsletter, send a message through our contact page, or email us, we collect what you provide, such as your name and email address.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our partners collect standard technical data when you visit. This can include your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, the site that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them to keep the site working, understand how visitors use it, and support advertising and affiliate partnerships. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work correctly without them.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to show ads on this site.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
To learn more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how visitors find and use the site, such as which reviews are read most. Google Analytics collects information through cookies and reports trends without telling us who you are. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Newsletter (Kit)
Our email newsletter is run by Kit (formerly ConvertKit). When you subscribe, your email address and any information you choose to provide are stored by Kit so we can send you the newsletter. Kit may track whether emails are opened and links are clicked. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can leave at any time. See Kit’s privacy policy.
Affiliate Links
Some links on this site are affiliate links, including links to Mike’s Cigars, CigarPage, and Gotham Cigars. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. These retailers and their affiliate networks, such as Awin, may use cookies to track the referral. We buy every cigar we review with our own money, and affiliate relationships never affect our ratings.
Embedded Content
Reviews may include embedded videos from YouTube and posts from social platforms like Instagram. Embedded content behaves the same way as if you visited that platform directly, and those platforms may collect data about you under their own privacy policies.

- Run, maintain, and improve the site
- Send the newsletter to people who signed up
- Reply to messages you send us

- Show ads and support affiliate partnerships that keep the site running
We do not sell your personal information.
